I believe wealth is a stewardship
— not a burden
to manage.

My “Start”: The law school route.
I originally went to law school because I wanted to make a real difference in people’s lives. While my first experience in the legal profession didn’t feel aligned with the kind of compassionate service, I believed clients deserved, it ultimately led me to a path where I could help people in a more personal and meaningful way. Through years in real estate development, I had the privilege of helping families build something lasting—whether that meant finding the right land, improving property, or creating a home that would become part of their legacy. Now, that same commitment has brought me back to the law, where I can help individuals and families protect what they have worked so hard to build.
My "Why": Protecting what matters most.
Every estate planning attorney can talk about tax codes, probate court, and legal structures. But for me, this practice isn’t just a professional choice — it’s deeply personal. My path to becoming a family estate planning attorney was shaped by watching my own family navigate the painful, unintended consequences of an incomplete plan.
Growing up, my family was fortunate to build a meaningful collection of fine art. To my father, these pieces weren't just financial assets; they represented decades of shared history, hard work, and a legacy he intended to pass down through generations. When my father died he assumed that leaving everything to my mother restriction-free was the simplest, safest way to take care of the family.
Unfortunately, without the structural protection of a trust, that legacy was left vulnerable. Following my father’s passing, a combination of poor guidance and family pressure led to a portion of that collection being squandered. In a matter of years, decades of family history vanished.
My “End Game”: The lesson hidden in loss.
Legacy is incredibly fragile. A parent's best intentions are rarely enough to protect a family's future if they aren't backed by the right legal safeguards.
Seeing firsthand how quickly a lifetime of hard work can disappear — and the emotional strain it places on family relationships — changed everything for me. It made me realize that true estate planning isn't just about passing on wealth; it's about putting up the guardrails that protect your loved ones from future missteps, outside pressures, and even themselves.
I built this practice to be the advocate my father didn’t have. My goal is to give you peace of mind when you look at everything you’ve worked so hard to build—whether that is a family business, real estate, a treasured collection, or your life savings—by helping you put the right protections in place so your wishes are honored and your family is cared for. What makes this practice different is our focus on families, not just documents. We are here to help your estate plan truly work in real life by offering the support many firms leave out, including fiduciary letters, trust funding, clear visual explanations of your plan, and legacy interviews that help preserve the stories and values behind what you are passing on.
